Background
The public law's govinfo package page records the bill's history: H.R. 6500 passed the House January 12, 2026 (340 to 54) as a different measure, passed the Senate with amendments August 8, 2026 (90 to 6), and the House agreed September 1, 2026 (370 to 48). Section 101 incorporates twelve FY2026 appropriations acts by reference, with stated exceptions for certain sections; the Transportation, Housing and Urban Development act applies as amended by sections 153(b) and 156(a) of the CR.
As of November 3, 2026, govinfo records for the House-passed FY2027 bills show no Senate action after receipt, and neither appropriations committee's release listing announces a further FY2027 floor passage or another continuing resolution.
