The headline figure is the API's reported match count; agency and type breakdowns are computed over the 876 most recent matches. The agency-span figure counts every agency named on the documents; the bar chart counts each document once under its lead (first-listed) agency, so chart totals are lower. Because the match is full-text, a document is counted if it references the phrase, which is not the same as a formal topic classification.
