Santee's Housing Element is part of the City of Santee General Plan 2020, which was adopted on August 23, 2003 and comprises nine elements: Land Use, Housing, Mobility, Recreation, Trails, Conservation, Noise, Safety, and Community Enhancement. The Housing Element is being updated in conformance with the 2021-2029 update cycle for jurisdictions in the SANDAG region and has been reviewed with the rest of the General Plan to ensure internal consistency.
