OPM, AbilityOne, Commerce, and Education Open Five Comment Windows Through August

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration is accepting public comments on Amendment 22 to the Coastal Pelagic Species Fishery Management Plan, submitted by the Pacific Fishery Management Council for review by the Secretary of Commerce. If approved, Amendment 22 would update essential fish habitat provisions for stocks managed under the CPS FMP based on a recent review of available information. NMFS will consider public comments in deciding whether to approve, disapprove, or partially approve the amendment; no management measures and no implementing regulations are proposed as part of this action. The comment deadline is August 24, 2026.
Also closing August 24, the Department of Education is proposing a revision of a currently approved information collection request under the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 for the William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan Program, Federal Direct PLUS Loan Request for Supplemental Information.
Separately, the Commerce Department's International Trade Administration issued final results of an antidumping duty administrative review covering silicon metal from Malaysia for the period of review August 1, 2023, through July 31, 2024, determining that silicon metal from Malaysia was not sold in the United States at less than normal value during that period.
