SEC Closes Enforcement Meeting June 25; NRC Schedules Advanced Reactor Session July 21

SEC Closed Meeting — June 25, 2026

The Securities and Exchange Commission has announced a closed meeting set for 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 25, 2026. The meeting will be held via remote means and at the Commission's headquarters at 100 F Street NE, Washington, DC 20549. The meeting is closed to the public.

Attendees will include Commissioners, Counsel to the Commissioners, the Secretary to the Commission, and recording secretaries. Certain staff members who have an interest in the matters also may be present, according to the notice. The subject matter of the closed meeting will consist of the following topics: institution and settlement of injunctive actions; institution and settlement of administrative proceedings; resolution of litigation claims; and other matters relating to examinations and enforcement proceedings.

The Commission's General Counsel, or his designee, has certified that one or more exemptions set forth in 5 U.S.C. 552b(c)(3), (5), (6), (7), (8), 9(B) and (10) and 17 CFR 200.402(a)(3), (a)(5), (a)(6), (a)(7), (a)(8), (a)(9)(ii) and (a)(10) permit consideration of the scheduled matters at the closed meeting. The notice states that changes in Commission priorities may require alterations in the scheduling of agenda items, which may consist of adjudicatory, examination, litigation, or regulatory matters. NRC Public Meetings — June 22 Through July 27, 2026

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission has published its Sunshine Act meeting schedule covering the weeks of June 22, June 29, and July 6, 13, 20, and 27, 2026. The notice states that no meetings are scheduled for the weeks of June 22, June 29, July 6, or July 27, 2026. The weeks of June 29, July 6, July 13, and July 27 are listed as tentative.

One public meeting is scheduled: on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., the Commission will hold a session titled "Advanced Reactor Landscape: Current Status and Moving Forward." The meeting will be held in the Commissioners' Hearing Room at 11555 Rockville Pike, Rockville, Maryland.
